Our mission is “To raise up and equip Christ-centered leaders to effectively advance the Kingdom of God on the earth.”
The mission is what fuels the vision and brings it to past. The mission of raising up Christ-centered leaders is a ministry of love, nurturing, caring and mentoring. The process of ongoing teaching, training and equipping is the key to raising up people in the Lord and to prepare them to function effectively. Each leader must see themselves equipping and being equipped, loving and being loved, giving and being given to, helping and being helped and teaching and being taught. We must consistently lay the foundation of Christ while developing those that can run with the vision and teach others to do so. The standard of effectively advancing the Kingdom must be at the forefront of the hearts of all leaders. Advancing Christ’s Kingdom must become the principle and the pattern of every leader and those being developed for ministry.
Our mission must be at the center of the heart of every leader. It takes faithful strong, stable, focused, mature and passionate leadership that is committed to the vision and mission of Christ and of this ministry in order for the mission/vision of this house to reach a harvest. It will take Christ driven leadership passionately submitted to the leadership of the Holy Spirit and to the overseers of this house and to one another to cause the vision to speak. Faithful, strong, stable, disciplined, mature and passionate leadership is not an option, but a very real requirement to fulfill our purpose. The scriptures tell us in II Timothy 2:1-2, “You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses these entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
So, we are raising up faithful leaders that are carriers of this vision and are equipped enough and mature enough to raise up and develop others. Timid, insecure, lazy, selfish, stubborn and self-made leaders cannot be trusted or entrusted to carry the mantle of His precious work. We will examine the criteria for leadership in another section. Nothing less than faithful and effective leadership is acceptable for such an awesome responsibility. The love of God and the fear of God must be branded in the hearts of those who lead. Those who lead must understand and accept the demanding responsibility of pouring into others. Those that lead must not only be responsible, but accountable to those who have entrusted them and to those that they lead.
Leadership develops the framework and lives according to the pattern and standard that is set to fulfill the vision before all.
