"The Blessing of Flowing With God"

Dear Beloved:

           The dream I shared with you on last week was so real to me and life changing.  The Lord chose to speak to me and to reveal areas of concern through a dream. I am reminded of the scripture in Heb. 11:7 that says,"By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear prepared an ark for the saving of his household by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith."  The Lord gives us divine warning of things to come so that we might move with godly fear and obey the Lord.  It is interesting that this scripture captures God's warning and Noah's response.   Noah was warned of things never seen or heard of before. His response was that he moved and flowed with godly fear.

    I believe the dream God gave me was a warning to me, to the leadership and to the body of believers at A.C.K.M.  Apostle Paul spoke to his people in I Cor. 4:14, saying,"I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children to warn you."  Apostle Paul was addressing the attitudes and actions of the people.  So he came to them with a warning.  A warning is a signal to alert us, awaken us, alarm us, stir urgency within us, and get our attention to protect us and to prepare us regarding something forthcoming, unseen, unknown or unfamiliar to us.  Sometimes warnings come because we have overlooked, neglected or gotten careless about something. I have been warned on many occasions through dreams, other people, circumstances, events, the word of God and the Holy Spirit.  Warnings are always for our good and welfare, and to protect us, our families and others.  If we respond correctly to God's warnings we can save ourselves and others from unnecessary pain, trouble, mistakes, time, delay and even death.  The Lord warns us because He loves us and wants us to live fulfilled purpose driven, Kingdom focused, Christ center and effective lifestyles.  Our lives are prolonged and more effective when we heed the warnings of God.  Warning is mentioned 29 times in the Bible in some form.  In each case the warning provided protection, preparation and provision.  Warnings allow us the opportunity to make adjustments, realign ourselves, slow down, reprioritize our lives and set things in order.

     We cannot afford to continue to live a lifestyle that does not flow with God.  That’s why He warns us because many things come in our lives take us out of the flow of God.  The Holy Spirit showed me we have settled for a drip rather than a flow.  The word flow means:
  1.  To move like a stream contained by banks.
  2.  To run or spread freely.
  3.  To be full and running fast.
  4.   To run smoothly and effortlessly.
  5.   To hand freely.
  6.   To be dispensed abundantly.
  7.   A smooth interrupted movement.

     When we stop flowing with God, it’s a sign that we have gotten off somewhere and have drifted away, settling for a drip rather than a flow.  God has called us to flow with Him and that's a sign of our lives being in line, in agreement, in obedience, in covenant fellowship, in order and in position with Him.  The best scripture that the Lord has given me to confirm a flowing lifestyle with Him is found in John 7:38, Jesus said, "He who believes in Me (who cleaves to and trust in and relies on Me)."  As the scripture has said, (amp. version) "from his innermost being shall flow (continuously) springs and rivers of living waters."  Powerful, powerful words to us from the Lord.
