"Plan A Believers"

"I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision"

Acts 26:19

Dear Beloved:

I believe that most believers are living on plan B, which is far beneath their privilege and advantage.  Too many of us are living as though we are disadvantaged and underprivileged children of God.  Living in fear, poverty, unbelief, frustration, despair and hopelessness is a plan B-complex.  A plan B-complex is a mind set on the outward appearance.  The plan B-complex is flesh based and externally driven by emotions, feelings and sight.  God's will cannot be fulfilled with believers that carry the B-complex.  Life is too short to continue with old thinking, old patterns and old methods.  Each of our lives are far more valuable and more useful to God than we think. Plan B is a trick and a trap of the enemy that will hold you back and keep you from fulfilling your destiny and leaving an inheritance behind.

We must start believing that there is more to our benefit, more to do for the Lord and more purpose to fulfill on the earth.  The way to overcome a B-complex is to enter into agreement with God and embrace all that He represents and stands for.  Amos 3:3 says, "Can two walk together except they be agreed?"  We must agree with the Lord by accepting Him at His word.  Agreement means to be in unity with, to be yoked together, and to be connected of the same kind. Plan-A believers are those that truly believe the Lord and make adjustments in every area of life to line up with God's word.  Plan-A believers are walking by faith, serving with diligence, faithful and obedient, making a difference and not excuses. The transition from plan-B to plan-A is a solid commitment of the heart and of the mind.  Plan-A believers are trusting the Lord at all costs. They believe God is their source of life, health, strength, peace and prosperity.

Prov. 3:5 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding: in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."  Trusting in the Lord with all your heart means my confidence, faith, dependency, hope and lifestyle rests in the Lord.  My heart is the central system of my being, the fiber of my existence, the life source of my spiritual and natural identity.  Therefore, when I trust Him I am handing over my life in complete surrender and placing my confidence and dependency on Him.  When I do this, I am vulnerable and flexible to live on His terms no matter what.  Because I trust Him, I release my entire life to Him to hold me up and to sustain me.

Apostle Paul was a plan-A believer and he give us excellent examples of what it means to trust and lean on Him.  In Acts 20:20-24, he says, "And see how I go bound in the Spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there, except that the Holy spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me.  But none of these things move me, neither do I count my life dear to myself so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God."  Apostle Paul was sold out and firmly rooted in plan-A to do God's will. He was focused and committed to God's plan no matter what came against him and no matter what he must give up.  He was not moved by circumstances and his life was not his greatest priority.  He was focused on finishing his race with joy and fulfilling his ministry from the Lord.  Apostle Paul was passionately committed to the Lord and was willing to pay the ultimate price to please the Lord.

What about you?  Are you passionately committed to God and to the ministry entrusted to your charge?  Choose this day to become a Plan-A Believer.
