"I Was Born To Be Blessed" Part 2

Dear Blessed Believer:

            Our lives are to be a reflection of our heavenly Father’s blessings, wealth, abundance, power, generosity, love, righteousness and truth.  While the enemy continues to accuse us and give us a terrible picture and bad reports, we must remember that we are blessed of the Lord.  We are under the attack of the enemy to make us bow down, back up, give up and shut down.  The enemy has a plan B for us and it’s not a good thing.  He wants us to live in fear, doubt, failure, hopelessness, deception and despair.  His plan is to strip us and deny us from our God likeness and God image.  The plans of the enemy are working all around us to keep us from fulfilling our purpose and reaching our potential.

We must rise up, stand up, and pursue the Lord with all diligence.  The only way we can overcome the plan of the enemy is to fully embrace the blessing plan of God.  Deut. 28:1-2 says, “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.  And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord.” WOW! the promises of God are awesome and overwhelming for us.  He says, “all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you.”  Overtaking blessings are those that are above and beyond all that we can imagine or handle.  When we give the Lord our whole undivided attention and diligently seek after Him, we can expect the Lord to step in and overtake us with these blessings.  Eph. 3:20 explains it this way, “Now to Him who is able to exceeding, abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us."  Satan does not want us to know this and to understand it.  He comes to steal, kill and destroy us from the promises of God.  He is stealing our identity, our purpose and our position from us because we allow it.  But, if could only get hold of the revelation of Eph. 3:20 and Deut. 28 into our hearts we could over throw all of Satan’s plans.  The scripture says “now to Him who is able to do exceeding and abundantly, above all that we ask or think.”  This means that our wildest dreams, our greatest desires, our biggest goals and our deepest thoughts are only a fraction of the blessings that God has in store for us.  Thank God it says, “He is able to do.”  This means that God is able and He will do it.

In Gen. 37:7, Joseph had a dream and he told it to his brothers: “There we were binding sheaves in the field.  Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.”  In his second dream he said, “and this time the sun, the moon and the stars and the eleven stars bowed down to me.” Joseph’s dreams got him into trouble and created more severe problems for him with his family.  The dreams, the prophecies and the visions that the Lord gives us to bless us will seem to get us into trouble first.  Many of us are bound by the attacks and persecutions of others, which causes us to deny God’s will for our lives.  Joseph’s dreams almost cost him his life as his brothers attempted to murder him.  But, the God of the dream is the one who protected him and provided a way of escape.  God’s word says, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, every tongue which rises against you shall you condemn.  This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord.” Isa. 54:17.  Joseph was blessed of the Lord and he was protected against all hurt, harm, and danger that came against him.  Our relationship with the Lord provides us with the blessing of divine protection.
