"Change Brings Forth A Flow With God" part 1
Dear Beloved: Its time for a change! You have heard it said before, “it’s time for a change!” When God’s people are no longer changing, they stop growing, giving, praying, laboring and flowing. They begin to get restless, unsettled, unfocused and disinterested in God’s business. Unchanging people of God become stuck, bound, religious, frustrated and complaining. Unchanging people become unteachable and begin to become judgmental, and they begin to decline and dry up. Psalm 55:19 says, “God will hear, and afflict them, even He who abides from of old. Because they do not change, therefore they do not fear God.” When we stop changing, God will release affliction to shake us, break us, push us and to bring us into a flow with God. Where there is no fear of God, there will be no obedience. When there is no fear of God there will come an ungodly fear of people, places and things. Where there is no obedience there will come disobedience, hindrances, weights, doubt, and sin. God said, I call this house to repentance this day to do your first works over. Jesus said, “No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse. Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskin breaks, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wine skins, and both are preserved.” (Matt. 9:16-17). Sometimes we have not gone through the process of stretching and shrinking through our pains, sacrifices, faithfulness and obedience. Some are pulling away from their charge, responsibilities, assignments and gifting. As a result, the garment is being ruined or the vision is being held back and rejected. New wine in old wineskins is pouring fresh revelation and the wisdom of God into old mindsets, attitudes, habits and ways. God wants our hearts to be changed so we can give Him what He wants from us. His greatest asset to advance His kingdom is our hearts being open, repentful, reachable, changeable and flowing with the fullness of His Spirit. We can become the new wineskins of God so He can pour the new wine into us. In the book of Ruth, God gives us an example of a woman that had every reason to return to her homeland and her own people because she had suffered a great loss. However, she was willing to change her natural desire and comfort to return home, instead she choose to take a risk and cling to Ruth. The scripture says, in Ruth 1:14, “ Then they lifted up their voices and wept again; and Orpath kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her.” Are we clinging to our spiritual Moms and Dads to fulfill the purpose of God? Change brings about a flow with God. Sharing Christ’s Love
